- We are delighted to welcome you and your well-behaved four-legged family member.
- We have specified “pet friendly” rooms, please make it known when making your reservation that you are bringing a pet. If there is a pet in a non-pet-friendly room a $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
- There is a $25 per pet, per night fee plus a refundable $100 pet damage deposit.
In order to maintain a healthy and pleasant environment for all our guests we must insist that you follow these guidelines:
- Owners are liable for any damage incurred by their pet (such as chewing or relieving themselves indoors) and for any injury caused by their pet. Loss of pet deposit and additional fees may be incurred.
- No Excessive Barking Allowed. There is a $100 charge for each episode of excessive barking, which will be issued as a credit to anyone in nearby rooms who complain about the barking. Excessive barking will be determined by the Management and is not negotiable.
- If you would like to leave your dog in the room while you’re out please let us know. The exception to this is while you are breakfasting in the Game Room.
- Dogs should not be left alone in the room unattended between the hours of 8pm and 8am, or for more than two hours at any other time.
- Dogs must be walked in a specified area and the dog owner is responsible for scooping the dog’s droppings on motel grounds and public areas, including trails. This helps maintain a healthier and more pleasant environment for all our guests, and keeps droppings from contaminating our lakes and streams. We will be happy to provide bags.
- Flea and tick preventatives must be up to date. Any sign of room infestation will result in loss of pet deposit and/or additional charges.
- Dogs must be crated or have their own bed. Dogs are not allowed on beds in the room.
- Only service dogs are allowed in the Game Room.
- Dogs must be leashed and kept under owner’s control when on motel property.
- For the safety of all guests, rabies vaccination must be current.
- Due to the prevalence of wildlife in the Adirondacks, we recommend dogs receive semi-annual fecal tests and protection against heartworm, Lepto, Lyme Disease & Bordatella (kennel cough).
- Please use the rags under the sink to clean dirty paws.
- If you have forgotten anything, please let us know, and we will loan you items from our “doggy closet” for a nominal fee. We will be happy to loan you old linen for your crate, dog bed, dog dishes, a leash, or droppings bags.
- If your dog is particularly dirty after a romp in the woods, please ask us where you can hose off the dog.
